Urgent Veterinary Services
Cuts and Wounds
Many lacerations and wounds occur outside of normal vet clinic hours. It is important to care for these injuries in order to control any infections. Diarrhea and Vomiting Gastrointestinal problems are very common in pets. Urgent Pet Vets can take care of many of these cases in-house, with no hospitalization necessary. Ear Infections There is no need to wait for an appointment if your pet is scratching their ears, shaking their head, or if the ears are have an odor or discharge. Bring them to Urgent Pet Vets--no appointment is necessary. Urinary Tract Problems If you observe bloody or concentrated urine, house soiling, straining during urination, or excessive licking, your pet may be suffering from a urinary tract problem. We can do a urinalysis in our in-house lab and help your pet feel better. Surgery Although we can't keep your pet for an overnight stay, we are equipped to handle some small surgical procedures. We are not equipped to handle cases that require hospitalization or advanced surgical care, but if we diagnose something more serious, we will provide you with options for your pet, including transfer to a 24-hour emergency hospital. Euthanasia Your pets are members of the family, and we know how very hard it is to say goodbye. Because we understand the importance of choosing the moment that is right for your pet and your family, no appointment is necessary. |
